Jujutsu: re Controls

Use the official Jujutsu: re PC keybind list, learn what each action label proves, edit controls in Settings, and troubleshoot mobile or console prompts safely.

The official Jujutsu: re Roblox description publishes the default PC controls and says they can be edited in Settings. It also confirms mobile and console support, but it does not publish a complete touch or controller button map. This guide separates those facts so a keyboard key is never turned into a guessed gamepad or mobile binding.

Complete official PC defaults

  • Shift — Run
  • Q — Dash
  • G — Momentum Slide
  • Left Alt — Camera Lock
  • E — Equip Weapon
  • R — Critical Attack
  • T — Finisher / Reverse Cursed Technique
  • B — Grip
  • V — Carry
  • ` — Inventory
  • N — Open Phone
  • H — Skateboard
  • M1 + Space — Aerial
  • Z, X, C — Sorcerer / Curse / Vessel abilities
  • L — Vessel Transformation

These are labels from the official page, not a frame-data or combo guide. A label proves the action and default input exist; it does not prove the action is unlocked, available in every state, or free of a cooldown or other requirement.

Set up your controls

Open Settings immediately after loading into the correct experience. Compare every visible binding with this list and note custom changes. Choose keys that you can press without losing camera control, but avoid changing the entire layout before you know which actions you use together.

Start with movement: run, dash, Momentum Slide, Camera Lock, and Aerial. Then verify Equip Weapon and Critical Attack. Add the three ability keys after reading their current labels. Leave context actions—T, Grip, Carry, and transformation—until the interface shows when they are available.

If you change a binding, test it in a safe area and return to Settings to confirm it saved. A guide cannot see your custom layout, so your Settings screen always wins when it differs from the published defaults.

What the context labels mean

T is published as Finisher/Reverse Cursed Technique. The slash indicates more than one action is associated with the input, but the public description does not explain the selection rule. Read the live prompt, your state, and the target state. Do not report that T is broken merely because the other context is active.

Z/X/C are published as Sorcerer, Curse, or Vessel abilities. The page does not name the move attached to each slot. Your current ability interface is the correct source for those names. L is Vessel Transformation, but availability and requirements are not public in the description.

Movement input practice

Use a visible landmark. Run toward it with Shift and stop on a chosen point. Repeat with Q and observe where camera direction sends the dash. Test G separately so you learn the Momentum Slide distance and recovery in your current build. Toggle Camera Lock with Left Alt and repeat the route.

For M1 + Space, press the combination deliberately rather than rolling both inputs across unrelated actions. Observe what the current state permits. The official label “Aerial” does not prove a specific launch, cancel, or combo.

Test H Skateboard outside combat. If the action is unavailable, inspect visible requirements and Settings. No unlock rank or speed value is asserted here.

Weapon, inventory and Phone checks

Press E and confirm the game visibly equips the intended weapon before testing R. If Critical Attack does nothing, check the equipped state, custom binding, current action state, and any visible indicator. The official page does not publish weapon stats or critical timing.

The backtick key opens Inventory on the default map. Keyboard layouts differ, so use the binding shown in Settings if the physical key is unclear. N opens Phone. The Phone matters for the code route documented by two current independent guides; if N differs, use the live binding.

Mobile and console controls

The official description explicitly states that Jujutsu: re is playable on mobile, PC, and console. It does not list the exact touch layout or controller buttons. Follow the icons shown on your device and open Settings. Do not assume that Q must be a particular bumper or that N must appear in a fixed corner.

When reporting a missing input, include platform, device type, current state, displayed prompt, and whether the action works after checking Settings. This helps distinguish a layout issue from an action that is locked or context-sensitive.

Troubleshooting

  • A key does nothing: check Settings, current state, visible cooldown or meter, and whether the action is unlocked.
  • Movement goes the wrong way: test camera direction and Camera Lock before changing the binding.
  • Weapon action fails: confirm the weapon is visibly equipped before pressing Critical Attack.
  • Phone will not open: close other panels, verify the Phone binding, and rejoin a current server once.
  • T performs the wrong action: read the current prompt; the official label is context-sensitive.
  • An ability name differs from a guide: trust the live Z/X/C labels and confirm the exact experience.
  • Mobile or console button differs: use platform prompts; no complete official mapping was published.
